Distributed producers, energy stores, and consumers participating in the network present an increasingly complex environment in which distribution system operators are responsible for ensuring a highly efficient infrastructure with disruption and outage intelligence and high security of supply, while keeping in mind network extension and dismantling, repair measures, transit, optimized use of resources, and more. And there are further tasks such as output limitation of wind turbines, integration of virtual power plants, reserve pooling for minute and secondary reserves, and e-mobility.
